Grand America Tour 7N/8D

Day 1: SAN FRANCISCO

We meet at Istanbul New Airport's International Terminal at the Turkish Airlines "THY" counter at 04:50. After check-in and passport procedures, we depart for San Francisco, the technology hub of America, on Turkish Airlines flight TK289 at 07:50 (13 hours and 30 minutes). Upon arrival at 11:20 local time, we are greeted by our guide and begin a panoramic city tour of this fascinating city. Our tour includes Civic Center, the world-famous Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown, the "hippie neighborhood" of Haight and Asbury, the breathtaking views from Twin Peaks, the picturesque Palace of Fine Arts reflected in its pond, and the iconic Painted Ladies, known from many movies. At the end of the day, we have dinner and stay overnight at the 4* Hotel Zelos San Francisco or a similar hotel.

Day 2: SAN FRANCISCO

After breakfast, we head to Sausalito, one of San Francisco’s most charming spots. Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, we reach this delightful town in about 30 minutes. While strolling along the waterfront, you’ll admire the beautiful houses and serene atmosphere of Sausalito. On our return boat ride to San Francisco, you’ll have the opportunity to photograph Alcatraz Island, once known as the "escape-proof" prison, and enjoy stunning views of the San Francisco skyline. Continuing our tour, we take a nostalgic and pleasant ride to Union Square on the famous red Cable Cars. At the end of the day, we enjoy dinner and stay overnight at our hotel.

Day 3: LOS ANGELES

After breakfast, we transfer to San Francisco Airport and fly to Los Angeles, one of America’s largest cities (1 hour 30 minutes). Known as the "City of Angels," Los Angeles is America’s second-largest city. Our tour begins with a visit to the iconic "Hollywood" sign, where we’ll climb up to Hollywood Hills for photo opportunities of these famous letters. Next, we visit Hollywood Boulevard, home to the Dolby Theater (formerly Kodak Theater), the Chinese Theater, and the Walk of Fame, featuring the handprints and footprints of stars. We continue via Sunset Strip to Beverly Hills, where we see the famous Beverly Hills sign and explore Rodeo Drive, home to luxury boutiques and the iconic Beverly Wilshire Hotel, featured in "Pretty Woman."

We then move to Downtown Los Angeles, where we visit historic Olvera Street, skyscrapers that define the city’s skyline, and the historic sites of Los Angeles’ founding. At the end of the day, we enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the 4* DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles Downtown Hotel or a similar hotel.

Day 4: LOS ANGELES

After breakfast, we drive along the Pacific coastline to San Diego, often called "America’s Finest City" (200 km). During our city tour, we visit La Jolla, known for its seals and beaches, the charming Sea Port Village with its cozy cafes and souvenir shops, the famous Midway aircraft carrier, and the Star of India, used by the Spanish for slave trade. We also explore Gaslamp Quarter, the heart of Downtown San Diego, Coronado Island with the historic Hotel Del Coronado (featured in "Some Like It Hot"), Little Italy with its Italian-inspired architecture, and Old Town, known as the birthplace of California. After our tour, we return to Los Angeles for dinner and overnight accommodation at our hotel.

Day 5: LOS ANGELES

After breakfast, we begin our Coastal Cities tour. Our first stop is Long Beach, home to America’s second-busiest port. Here, we visit the iconic Queen Mary ship and the Grand Prix of Long Beach Formula 1 racetrack. We then continue south along the Pacific coastline, visiting Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Corona del Mar, and Laguna Beach. After the tour, we transfer to Los Angeles Airport for our 23:15 flight to New York (5 hours 30 minutes).

Important Note: Due to the flight schedule, there is no hotel accommodation tonight.

Day 6: NEW YORK

We arrive at 07:35 and head to Manhattan Island, the most iconic and popular part of New York. We start our tour in Uptown Harlem, where we visit the legendary Apollo Theater, where stars like James Brown, Aretha Franklin, and The Jackson 5 began their careers. Passing through streets lined with English-style brownstone buildings, we reach Central Park. Driving along Fifth Avenue, we see Central Park on one side and New York’s most expensive apartments on the other. We pass Museums Mile, home to renowned museums and galleries, including the Metropolitan Museum.

On the west side of the city, we see the historic Dakota Building near Central Park, Strawberry Fields, and the lake area, where we have some free time. Continuing to Midtown, we visit Columbus Circle, Trump Hotel, The Plaza Hotel, the iconic Apple Store, Trump Tower, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, New York Public Library, Flatiron Building, Madison Square Park, and Eataly. Later, we head to Greenwich Village to visit Washington Square Park and New York University, followed by Soho, Civic Center, Wall Street, and the World Trade Center area. We return via the Hudson River and conclude the day with a visit to the vibrant Times Square. After dinner, we stay overnight at the 4* Wyndham Garden Chinatown Hotel or a similar hotel.

Day 7: NEW YORK

After breakfast, we explore New York’s most iconic landmarks. Our first stop is the Empire State Building, one of the city’s most recognizable symbols and the setting for many films, including King Kong. Completed in 1931 in just 14 months, this towering structure with a height of 443 meters offers breathtaking views from its open-air observation deck on the 86th floor. We then take the New York Metro, used by 2.4 million people daily, to Downtown, where we board a ferry to see the Statue of Liberty up close. The ferry provides fantastic photo opportunities of the statue and the Manhattan Skyline.

We continue to Wall Street, home to the New York Stock Exchange, and the World Trade Center. Next, we take the metro to Dumbo, where we view Manhattan from Brooklyn and learn about the history of the Brooklyn Bridge while taking postcard-worthy photos. We conclude our tour with a chance to capture iconic photos on Washington Street. After dinner, we return to our hotel for overnight accommodation.

Day 8: WASHINGTON D.C.

After breakfast, we travel to Washington D.C. (370 km). Our first stop is the Diyanet Center of America, inaugurated on April 2, 2016, by our president. Following this visit, we proceed to Washington D.C. for a city tour. Highlights include the US Capitol, the Library of Congress (home to Sumerian Tablets, the oldest known written artifacts), Union Station, the National Mall, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the World War II Memorial, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, and, of course, the White House.

We approach the White House, the official residence of the U.S. president, where you may witness peaceful protests and observe security measures, including snipers on the rooftops. After the tour, we transfer to Washington Airport for Turkish Airlines flight TK8 at 21:45, departing for Istanbul.
