Classic Italy Tour Starting from Venice 5N/6D

Day 1: VENICE

We meet at the Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal at the designated time. After completing ticket, passport, and baggage procedures, we depart for Venice on Pegasus Airlines’ scheduled flight. Upon arrival in Venice, we leave the airport and begin our tour. For a delightful experience, we board a Vaporetto (small ferry-passenger boat) for a 20-25 minute journey. During the ride, our guide will share detailed information about Venice's islands and historic structures. Once in Venice, we visit iconic sites such as the New Prison Building, Campanile Bell Tower, Dandola Palace, the Old Prison, Doge's Palace, the Clock Tower, St. Mark's Square, and the Basilica. Guests who wish can join a gondola ride through Venice’s unique canals (Gondola ride: €30 per person, for up to 5 people per gondola. Alternatively, you can rent an entire gondola for €150). After the tour, we offer free time for shopping and photography. At the designated time, we regroup and return to the mainland via Vaporetto. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

Day 2: VENICE - SIRMIONE - GARDA - MILAN

After breakfast at our hotel, we set off for Milan, one of Europe’s most elegant cities and the capital of fashion and design. Along the way, we make a brief stop at Lake Garda, one of Italy’s most beautiful and largest lakes. Upon arriving at Sirmione, known as the jewel of Lake Garda, we are greeted by the XIII century Scaliger Castle, one of Italy’s best-preserved castles. With its historic charm, bougainvillea-covered buildings, and tranquil medieval atmosphere, Sirmione offers a magical experience. Guests who wish can join an exhilarating speedboat tour on Lake Garda. Afterward, we proceed to Franciacorta Village, a famous shopping destination in Italy, for shopping and free time. At the designated time, we continue to Milan. Upon arrival in Milan, we embark on a panoramic city tour, during which we see landmarks such as Sforza Castle, Dante Street, Duomo Cathedral, Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery, Da Vinci Monument, and La Scala Opera House. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

Day 3: MILAN - PORTOFINO - CINQUE TERRE

After breakfast, we visit the charming coastal town of Portofino, known for its pastel-colored houses and unspoiled beauty, which has inspired countless songs. Here, we enjoy the unique atmosphere where nature and history intertwine. Next, we head to Cinque Terre, meaning "Five Lands," which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998. The pastel hues of the houses, changing colors under the sunlight, the lush green mountains in the background, and the deep blue sea in the foreground create an epic and soul-soothing view. After exploring the most significant villages of Cinque Terre, we offer free time to enjoy the serene landscape. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

Day 4: PISA - FLORENCE

Following breakfast, we set off for Pisa. Our first stop is the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 12th century and completed in the 14th century, this bell tower stands approximately 57 meters high next to the Pisa Cathedral. Its tilt, caused by foundational issues, has made it an iconic global landmark. In addition to the Leaning Tower, we admire the impressive Pisa Cathedral and Europe’s most magnificent baptistery. Next, we head to Florence, the heart of the Renaissance and a city that has left an indelible mark on art and culture. In Florence, we explore historic landmarks, including the Duomo Cathedral, Bell Tower, Uffizi Palace, Baptistery, and Signoria Square. As we step through this magnificent city, we uncover its rich history and timeless charm. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

Day 5: FLORENCE - ROME

After breakfast, we depart for Rome. Upon arrival, we begin our city tour with a visit to Vatican City, the center of the Catholic faith and an independent state. Here, we view St. Peter's Basilica and St. Peter’s Square from the outside. As 2025 is declared a special year for Christians worldwide, the city will be bustling with a unique atmosphere. Our guide will adjust the tour plan flexibly to account for the crowds and ambiance, making necessary changes to the itinerary. Next, we explore Rome, known as Caput Mundi (The Capital of the World) by the ancient Romans. Our first stop is the Colosseum, one of Rome’s most magnificent monuments, which was inaugurated in AD 80 and abandoned in the 6th century. We view this iconic structure panoramically from the outside. We then visit other significant landmarks of Rome, including Circus Maximus, the Spanish Steps (Piazza di Spagna), and the Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi). After some free time, we photograph the Pantheon, one of the most significant architectural wonders in history, from the outside. Lastly, we visit Navona Square (Piazza Navona), one of the city's most vibrant and charming squares. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel. If time permits, we will visit the Rome Central Mosque for midday/afternoon prayers.

Day 6: ROME

After breakfast, we head to Nemi, a tranquil mountain village about 30 km from the city center, known for its strawberry fields and serene atmosphere. We take a scenic walk around Nemi Lake and enjoy the charming ambiance of this picturesque village. After the Nemi tour, we transfer to Rome Leonardo Da Vinci Airport for our Pegasus Airlines flight back to Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Our enjoyable and unforgettable tour concludes here.
