Tour Program

Day 1:

Visit to Sarajevo, including the Sebil Fountain built in the 18th century Bosniak architectural style, the only active art street from the Ottoman period "Coppersmiths’ Street," Bazaar Mosque, Morića Han and the Mladi Muslimani organization, Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque and mausoleum, Clock Tower, Kuršumli Madrasa, Gazi Husrev Bey Museum and Library, the first public toilet in Europe, the Latin Bridge known as the site where World War I began, Hünkar Mosque built in honor of Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror, At Mejdan (Okmeydanı), Bakır Baba Mosque built by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Orthodox Church, Alija Izetbegović Park, where Sarajevo locals play chess, Ferhadiye Mosque, Ferhadiye Street (Sarajevo’s Istiklal Street), Jewish Synagogue, Catholic Cathedral - the Sacred Heart Church, Sarajevo Roses (marks of bombings that claimed multiple lives), the site of the Breadline Massacre, the Eternal Flame lit in memory of Sarajevo’s liberation from German occupation by the Yugoslav army on April 6, 1945, Markale Market, where the February 5, 1994 massacre took place killing 68 people, and the Vijećnica Library, which was burned during the war, destroying numerous manuscripts.

Day 2:

Visit to the Martyrs' Cemetery, Mostar Bazaar paved with stones from the local river, Koski Mehmet Pasha Mosque, the Turkish Consulate in Mostar, the historic Mostar Bridge built in 1566 by Mimar Sinan’s student Mimar Hayreddin, destroyed in 1993 and reconstructed in 2004, Tara Tower, Kriva Cuprija (Crooked Bridge), Tabakhane Mosque and Hammam.

Day 3:

Tour of Kotor, visiting Arms Square, Clock Tower, Pillar of Shame, St. Tryphon’s Cathedral, Craftsmen’s Street, Tulumba Fountains, River Gate, and St. Luke’s Square.

Day 4:

Panoramic city tour of Podgorica, visiting the Presidential Palace, a park built by Azerbaijan, Millennium Bridge, and King Nikola Statue. We then continue to Tirana to see the Turkish Embassy, U.S. Embassy, the ongoing construction of the four-minaret Namazgah Mosque funded by the Turkish Religious Foundation, the statue of Tirana’s founder Süleyman Pasha, Tirana City Square, Et’hem Bey Mosque, Clock Tower, National Museum, University Building, Opera and Ballet Theater, the statue of Albania’s national hero Skanderbeg, Parliament and Ministry buildings, and the Presidential Palace.

Day 5:

Tour of Ohrid, including the 11-century-old plane tree, Zeynel Abidin Pasha Tekke (Halveti Tekke), Ali Pasha Mosque, Ohrid Square and its famous pearl shops, St. Clement’s Statue, an ancient paper-making workshop using a method originating from China in the 2nd century BC, the Hagia Sophia Church, and the Ancient Theater.

Day 6:

Tour of Prizren, visiting Halveti Tekke, Gazi Mehmet Pasha Hammam, the Namazgah where Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror and his army prayed, Bayrakli Mosque, Marash district and the historic Marash Bridge, the 400-year-old Great Plane Tree, Emin Pasha Mosque, the Turkish Consulate in Prizren, the Stone Bridge over the Bistrica (Akdere) River, Shadervan Square, Sinan Pasha Mosque, St. George’s and Catholic Churches, the Arasta Mosque Minaret (the mosque itself was demolished during Yugoslavia’s rule), and the Serbian Quarter, still bearing the scars of war.

Day 7:

Tour of Skopje, visiting Mustafa Pasha Mosque, Goldsmiths’ Street, Arasta Mosque, the iconic Stone Bridge over the Vardar River, the Turkish and Jewish neighborhoods, Davut Pasha Hammam, Çifte Hammam, Murat Pasha Mosque, Sulu Han, Kapan Han, Kurşunlu Han, the massive Alexander the Great statue that caused a naming dispute with Greece in 2011, the statue of Alexander’s father, Philip II, the Vardar River, Macedonia Archaeological Museum and Archive, National Theater Building, Saints Cyril and Methodius Monument (founders of the Cyrillic alphabet), the 17th-century St. Spas Church, the Mother Teresa Memorial and Museum, and the Old Railway Station preserved in its ruined state from the 1963 Skopje earthquake.

Salaat Times: Please don't forget to bring your prayer rug and slippers on every tour. Depending on the region, there may not always be a mosque or prayer facility available at all times. Your guide will direct you to the nearest place to pray.

Tickets: Your tickets are electronic, and you will receive your boarding pass from the airline attendant at the counter by providing your name. For international flights, you need to be at the airport at least 3 hours before departure time, and for domestic flights, you need to be there 2 hours before.

Passports and Other Documents: Participants who are unable to obtain their passports will receive them from our staff at the airport. Those who did not send their passports to our company must bring their passports and identification with them and check the passport's expiration date.

Cancellation & Refund Policy: 

The entire service fee must be paid at the time of registration.

If the customer cancels the service up to 30 days before the service, taxes, fees, etc. that must be paid, except for costs arising from legal obligations, will be refunded in full (100%).

If the customer cancels the service less than 30 days before the service, taxes, fees, etc. that must be paid, 50% of the price paid, excluding costs arising from legal obligations, will be refunded to the customer.

If the customer cancels the service less than 15 days before the service, no refund will be made.

If a refund fee must be paid, it will be refunded to the customer in the same manner in which they paid.

If the agency unjustly terminates the contract, the agency will return all payments made by the customer to the customer within 14 days.

Health: You may not find every medication or equivalent in Turkey, so make sure you bring your prescription medications with you. Additionally, we recommend that you visit http://www.seyahatsagligi.gov.tr/ for more information.

During the Journey: We kindly request that you pay attention to your group leader's departure times to minimize time loss during your journey. As with any trip, we recommend that you store valuable items and money in the hotel safe. In the unfortunate event of damage, loss, etc. to personal belongings, please inform your group leader immediately. Smoking is not permitted on any flight. Please check your luggage tags after each flight. Public phone booths are available in cities to make phone calls with a phone card. We recommend that you take the hotel's business card when checking in.

I’m a solo female traveller – can I join this trip too? We typically get at least a couple of solo female travellers on each trip and you can count on us to make your experience feel as if you’re travelling with friends.

I can’t make the dates but I really want to experience with you, can you help? Sure! Bring at least 9 other friends/family members and we can recreate the same experience on dates that work for you. Fill in the booking form with your request and leave the rest to us!

How much spending money should I bring? You’ll only really need money for souvenirs, meals outside of those included above and any tips you many wish to give your guides and driver. Everything else – transport, tickets for experiences and historical suites, tours, main meals are covered by us.

  • For all passport types, our agency has no compensation obligation if the passport holder cannot participate in the tour due to a passport that is valid for less than 6 months from the date the tour ends. 
  • If the passport officer does not allow the passenger to enter the country despite having a visa, the responsibility lies with the passenger. 
  • Our company's cancellation and refund policies apply in case of possible issues with visas. 
  • We only provide document consultancy services for visas obtained through our company. If the visa is not issued, there will be no refund for the visa fee. Our cancellation and refund policies apply to refunds for the tour fee. 
  • Flight confirmations must be made by the passenger 48 hours before the tour departure time. 
  • For all international departures, guests must be present at the relevant port 3 hours before the tour departure time. 
  • Any connecting domestic flights arranged by our company are included in the next international flight. 
  • We strongly recommend that our guests do not book domestic flights themselves. 
  • If the guest is unable to attend the tour due to being late, the responsibility lies with the passenger. Our agency has no compensation obligation.
