Spain & Andalusia Tour 6N/7D

Day 1: BARCELONA

Meeting at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Departures Terminal. Flight to Barcelona with Pegasus Airlines. Our program begins with a panoramic city tour. Barcelona, the second-largest city in Spain and the capital of Catalonia, offers numerous sights, including La Sagrada Familia, the Christopher Columbus Monument, Montjuïc Hill, La Rambla Street, Plaça d’Espanya, Plaça de Catalunya, Passeig de Gràcia, Gran Via Street, Andalusian Arena, the Olympic Port, and Park Güell—an open-air museum adorned with colorful mosaics and organic shapes designed by the renowned Catalan modernist architect Antoni Gaudí. After the tour, transfer to the hotel in Barcelona. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: GIRONA

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for the Girona & Figueres & Dalí Museum tour. Girona, known for its medieval architecture, features a grand cathedral and a well-preserved Jewish quarter. We will also visit Figueres, the birthplace of the famous painter Salvador Dalí, and explore the Dalí Museum. Afterward, we continue with the Barcelona Icons tour, followed by an exciting walking tour through the city's backstreets. Starting from Plaça de Catalunya, we will visit the Barcelona Cathedral and Cathedral Square, El Call (one of the best-preserved Jewish quarters in Spain), Saint Jaume Square and nearby Roman city ruins, Saint Neri Square, Plaza Reial, and one of Europe’s oldest markets, Mercat de la Boqueria. Our final stop will be the famous Font de Canaletes fountain. After the tour, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: BARCELONA - VALENCIA

After breakfast, we head towards Valencia. En route, we will visit Sitges, a charming Mediterranean town located 35 km southwest of Barcelona. We start at the magical steps of the San Bartolome-Santa Tecla Cathedral, a 17th-century structure built on the remains of Romanesque and Gothic churches. Next, we explore the historic streets of Sitges, including the Modernist Maricel Palace and Museum, home to an impressive collection of art. Across the street, we will visit the Cau Ferrat Museum, the former home of Santiago Rusiñol, a leading figure in Catalonia's Modernist movement. We will also see the vibrant houses and cozy bars in the narrow streets where the famous Sitges Film Festival takes place.

Continuing to Valencia, Spain’s third-largest city and home to its biggest port, we will take a panoramic tour covering the City Hall, Gothic Cathedral, Bullring, Arts and Sciences Museum, the Historic Mercado Central, and the Old Silk Exchange. After the tour, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: VALENCIA - GRANADA

After breakfast, we depart for Granada. Our first stop in Granada is the magnificent Alhambra Palace, known for its breathtaking gardens and intricate Islamic architecture from the Nasrid Dynasty. Following our extensive palace tour, we will enjoy stunning views of Granada from San Nicolás Hill. Next, we explore the Albaicín, the city’s historic Moorish quarter, where we will walk through its picturesque streets accompanied by street musicians' melodies. We will also visit the Morabito Mosque, Gran Via Street, and Isabel de Católica Square. After a short coffee break, we will see the Granada Cathedral (from the outside) and explore the city's bustling markets. Guests can enjoy shopping in the bazaars or relax in the lively plazas and tapas bars. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: GRANADA - CORDOBA - SEVILLE

After breakfast, we set off for Cordoba, the former capital of Al-Andalus. Upon arrival, we will see the Roman Bridge and the Guadalquivir River before entering the historic city through the Roman Gate. Our tour includes a visit to the Great Mosque of Córdoba (Mezquita), a masterpiece of Islamic architecture with 850 columns, which was later converted into a cathedral while preserving its grandeur. We will also visit the Jewish Quarter and the Cordoba Synagogue, an example of Andalusian-style architecture. After strolling through the old Cordoba streets and seeing statues of famous Andalusian scholars, we continue towards Seville.

Upon arrival in Seville, our city tour begins with Plaza de España and Maria Luisa Park. We will then visit the Seville Cathedral, originally a grand mosque that was transformed into Spain’s largest cathedral. The minaret of the mosque, Giralda Tower, remains standing as a bell tower. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: SEVILLE - TOLEDO - MADRID

After breakfast, we depart for Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage city and one of the best-preserved medieval towns in the world. Toledo is home to the Toledo Cathedral, which was built on the remains of an old mosque. The city's historic streets are also lined with artworks by El Greco, a famous painter who lived in Toledo.

After our Toledo tour, we continue to Madrid, the capital of Spain. Our sightseeing tour will cover Gran Via Avenue, Plaza de España, the Don Quixote Monument, Pyramids, Royal Palace of Madrid (exterior), remains of Madrid's old mosque, Plaza Mayor, and Puerta del Sol square, followed by free time. We will also drive along Paseo de la Castellana Avenue, see the Cibeles Fountain, and visit Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid. After the tour, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: MADRID - ISTANBUL

After breakfast, we will have free time in Madrid’s city center. At the designated time, we gather and transfer to Madrid Airport for our flight back to Istanbul with Pegasus Airlines. End of our tour.
