Grand Egypt Tour 7N/8D

Day 1: HURGHADA

Meeting at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal. Departure to Hurghada with Turkish Airlines. Upon arrival, transfer to our hotel in Hurghada. After arriving in Hurghada, we enjoy our breakfast. In the afternoon, we check in and settle into our hotel. The rest of the day is free time in Hurghada. Guests may enjoy the sea or pool at our beachfront hotel. Alternatively, guests may join the optional Glass-Bottom Boat Tour and ATV – BUGGY Tour, coordinated by our guide. Dive into an adventure in the Red Sea aboard a real submarine, descending up to 20 meters to discover colorful corals and exotic marine life—a truly unforgettable experience. The Glass-Bottom Boat Tour is available for $80 per person.

Guests can also experience unlimited adventure in the Sahara Desert with our professional team. Enjoy breathtaking views while sipping mint tea at the Bedouin camp. A magical experience not to be missed. Guests may also participate in the Buggy/ATV Desert Safari and/or Bedouin Night with Dinner and Show for $90 per person. Those preferring a buggy instead of an ATV will pay an extra $20 per vehicle. After free time, meet at the time designated by our guide and return to the hotel.

Day 2: HURGHADA

After breakfast at the hotel, full free day in Hurghada. Guests may relax by the sea or pool at our beachfront hotel. Alternatively, they may join the optional full-day Luxor Temples Tour ($150 per person), coordinated by our guide. First, we visit the Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt, located on the east bank of the Nile. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this temple took hundreds of years to build, with each pharaoh adding to it. With its 134 massive columns, towering statues, obelisks, sphinxes, and sacred areas, Karnak Temple will leave a lasting impression.

Later, we visit another magnificent site from the Pharaonic era—Luxor Temple, beautifully lit at night. Dinner will be at a local restaurant. After a brief rest at the hotel, we visit Luxor Temple once again.

Day 3: HURGHADA

After breakfast at the hotel, another full day of free time in Hurghada. Enjoy the beach or pool, or join the optional Glass-Bottom Boat Tour and ATV – BUGGY Tour. Experience a real submarine ride in the Red Sea, reaching depths of 20 meters to observe vibrant coral reefs and marine life. A truly unforgettable underwater adventure.

The Glass-Bottom Boat Tour is available for $80 per person. Guests can also enjoy the Buggy/ATV Desert Safari and/or Bedouin Night with Dinner and Show for $90 per person. Buggy vehicle users will pay $20 per vehicle extra. After free time, gather at the designated meeting point and return to the hotel.

Day 4: HURGHADA

After breakfast, full free day in Hurghada. As in previous days, enjoy hotel facilities or join the optional Glass-Bottom Boat Tour and Desert Safari. Submarine and sea adventures, desert buggies, Bedouin tea under the stars—these experiences remain available as optional activities. Prices remain the same as previous days. In the evening, meet at the scheduled time and return to the hotel.

Day 5: HURGHADA – CAIRO

After breakfast, we board our vehicle waiting at the hotel entrance and depart for Cairo, Egypt’s ancient capital and one of Africa’s largest metropolises. After a scenic 4–5 hour journey, we arrive in Cairo and have dinner. Following dinner, we transfer to our hotel.

Day 6: CAIRO

After breakfast, we visit the Giza Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one still standing: the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, as well as the iconic Sphinx. Next, we visit the Museum of Egyptian Civilization, recently opened and home to the royal mummies that were transferred in a grand ceremony. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant before returning to our hotel.

Day 7: ALEXANDRIA

After breakfast, we head to Alexandria, one of Egypt’s most important tourist cities. During our panoramic city tour, we visit the Qaitbay Citadel, built from the remains of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, once considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Then we visit the Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque and the tomb of Imam Al-Busiri, the great Islamic poet famous for writing the "Qasidah al-Burdah" (Poem of the Mantle) for the Prophet Muhammad.

We also view the Library of Alexandria from the outside. After completing our Alexandria tour, we return to Cairo. Dinner is served at a local restaurant before transferring back to the hotel.

Day 8: CAIRO

After breakfast, we head to downtown Cairo, starting our day in the vibrant Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, reminiscent of Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar. We visit El Fishawi Café, frequented by Mehmet Akif Ersoy during his Cairo years, shop for souvenirs, and stroll through the narrow streets.

Today we will also visit Al-Muizz Street, protected by UNESCO, and see its Mamluk monuments, Al-Azhar Mosque and University, and the Tomb of Hussein. Later in the day, we tour Sultan Hassan Mosque, Al-Rifa’i Mosque, Ibn Tulun Mosque, Amr Ibn Al-As Mosque, the Citadel of Saladin, the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha, and the City of the Dead, where Imam al-Shafi’i’s tomb, various companions’ tombs, and Christian churches of Cairo are located.

After completing our sightseeing, we transfer to the airport. Our Turkish Airlines flight (TK 695) departs for Istanbul at 21:40, arriving at 00:05 at Istanbul Airport.
