NAPLES – POMPEII – ROME
NAPLES – POMPEII – ROME

Day 1: NAPLES – POMPEII – ROME

Meeting at the Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After ticketing, passport, and baggage procedures, we depart for Naples with Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight. Upon arrival, we begin our panoramic city tour of Naples. Highlights include the 16th-century Royal Palace, the world-renowned San Carlo Theatre, the famous Umberto I Gallery lined with cafes and shops, the Church of San Francesco Di Paola (inspired by the Pantheon in Rome), Plebiscito Square, Castel Nuovo (Angevin Castle), and the Port of Naples.

After the city tour, we head to Pompeii, a one-of-a-kind ancient city where life suddenly came to a halt. This impressive and haunting archaeological site will likely be one of the most unforgettable and powerful parts of our journey.

Following our visit to Pompeii, we drive to Rome. Upon arrival, we check in to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: ROME

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our panoramic tour of Rome. Our first stop is Vatican City — the heart of Catholicism and an independent state. From the outside, we will see St. Peter’s Basilica and St. Peter’s Square. (Note: The year 2025 is a special Jubilee Year for Catholics, bringing large crowds and a unique atmosphere to the city. We will plan the day flexibly according to the situation, and our guide will make adjustments to the itinerary if neede.)

Next, we explore the magnificent city once considered the Caput Mundi (Capital of the World) by the ancient Romans. Our first major stop is a panoramic view of the Colosseum — one of the most iconic architectural structures of Ancient Rome, inaugurated in AD 80 and abandoned by the 6th century.

We continue our tour with views of Circus Maximus, then disembark to visit the Spanish Steps (Piazza di Spagna) and the world-famous Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi). After some free time, we photograph the Pantheon from the outside — one of the most significant architectural wonders of the ancient world.

We then stroll through the beautiful Piazza Navona. Afterwards, we return to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay. (Depending on prayer times, we will also visit the Rome Central Mosque for midday/afternoon prayer.)

Day 3: ROME – SIENA – FLORENCE – MONTECATINI

After breakfast, we depart for Siena — home to Italy’s most famous religious festival and historic horse races. The city boasts one of the grandest squares in the Tuscany region. En route, enjoy breathtaking views of the Tuscan Valley. Upon arrival in Siena, we offer free time in the central square for shopping and photography.

At the designated time, we gather and continue on to Florence, the heart of the Renaissance. On our tour, we will explore the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), the Bell Tower, the Baptistery, Uffizi Gallery (from outside), and the historic Piazza della Signoria. Walking among Renaissance structures, we’ll witness how past and present coexist in this magnificent city.

Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: MONTECATINI – PISA – VENICE

After breakfast, we travel to Pisa to admire its contributions to art, science, and engineering. We will see the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa from the outside — a bell tower that began leaning due to unstable ground during its construction in the 12th century. It was completed in the 14th century and stands beside the Pisa Cathedral.

After seeing the Cathedral, the Baptistery (Europe’s grandest), and the Square of Miracles, we head toward Venice. Upon arrival, we board a vaporetto (small passenger boat) for a scenic 20–25 minute ride to the island city. During the ride, our guide will share insights about the Venetian islands and architecture.

In Venice, we see the New Prison, Campanile Tower, Doge’s Palace, the Old Prison, the Clock Tower, St. Mark’s Basilica, and St. Mark’s Square. Optional gondola ride through the canals is available (30 € per person – 5 persons per gondola. Private gondola for €150 is also available).

After the tour, enjoy free time for shopping and photos. We then regroup and return to the mainland by vaporetto. Dinner and overnight stay. (Accommodation will be provided in the surrounding areas such as Vicenza, Mestre, Treviso, Padova, or Lido di Jesolo.)

Day 5: VENICE – SIRMIONE – GARDA – MILAN

After breakfast at the hotel, we head toward Milan, one of Europe’s most stylish cities and the fashion capital of the world. On the way, we stop by Lake Garda — Italy’s largest and one of its most beautiful lakes.

Upon arrival at the picturesque village of Sirmione, we are welcomed by the Scaliger Castle, dating back to the 13th century and one of the best-preserved castles in Italy. With its bougainvillea-covered buildings and cobblestone streets, Sirmione offers a charming medieval atmosphere. Free time in Sirmione and a speedboat tour on Lake Garda are included.

Afterwards, we proceed to Milan for a panoramic city tour. Highlights include Sforza Castle, Dante Street, the Duomo Cathedral, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the Leonardo da Vinci Monument, and La Scala Opera House.

Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: MILAN – COMO – LUGANO

Following breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Lake Como — Italy’s most famous lake nestled at the foot of the Alps, shaped by glacial erosion. After a panoramic tour of Lake Como, we head to the Swiss town of Lugano.

Located at the foot of the Alps, Lugano is one of Switzerland’s most elegant and affluent lakeside towns. We enjoy panoramic views of Lake Lugano, with free time for chocolate shopping and photography.
