HURGHADA
HURGHADA

Day 1: HURGHADA

After meeting at Istanbul Airport’s International Departures Terminal, we depart for Hurghada with Turkish Airlines on a scheduled flight. Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel by private vehicle. After check-in, you will have free time to enjoy the hotel’s amenities. Guests who wish may join our optional tours organized for the day.

Day 2: HURGHADA

After breakfast at the hotel, we set out for Luxor, one of Egypt’s most impressive ancient cities. Upon arrival, we begin our exploration on the west bank of the Nile River, starting with the Valley of the Kings, where the rock-cut tombs of many ancient pharaohs are located. We continue with a visit to the magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut, built in honor of Egypt’s first female pharaoh. After the tour, we have dinner at a local restaurant and then transfer to our hotel for check-in. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 3: LUXOR

After breakfast at the hotel, we visit the Karnak Temple Complex, located on the east bank of the Nile. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this vast temple complex took hundreds of years to complete — each pharaoh added something new, creating one of the largest ancient structures in the world. Its massive hall of 134 columns, towering statues, obelisks, sphinxes, and sacred areas will leave you in awe. After a short rest at the hotel, we continue with a visit to the Luxor Temple, one of the most striking structures of the Pharaonic period, beautifully illuminated at night. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Luxor.

Day 4: CAIRO

Early in the morning, we transfer to Luxor Airport for our flight to Cairo, located in Lower Egypt (the Nile Delta region). (Flight times may vary depending on availability.) Upon arrival, we visit one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World — the Giza Pyramids (the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the smaller Pyramid of Menkaure) — as well as the iconic Sphinx, the colossal lion-bodied statues with human heads. (Entrance fees for the interior of the pyramids are not included.) The Great Pyramid of Khufu, built during the 4th Dynasty around 2560 BC, is approximately 145.75 meters tall and is believed to have taken over 20 years to complete.

Next, we tour the Egyptian Museum, one of the most famous and richest museums in the world, home to more than 5,000 years of Egyptian history. We then proceed to the Citadel of Cairo, built on a hill offering a panoramic view of the city. Here we visit the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha, an outstanding example of classical Ottoman architecture, and the Kalawun Mosque, among other historical landmarks. We continue with a visit to Ibn Tulun Mosque, Egypt’s first Turkish monument, where we photograph its stunning architecture. After completing the day’s program, we have dinner and return to our hotel for overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 5: ALEXANDRIA

After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Alexandria, one of Egypt’s most important cities both historically and for tourism. During our panoramic city tour, we visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, built using stones from the ruins of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria — one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. We then visit the Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque and the Tomb of Imam Al-Busiri, the great Islamic poet known for his “Qasidat al-Burda” written in praise of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). We also see the Library of Alexandria from the outside. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant before we begin our return journey to Cairo. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival and overnight in Cairo.

Day 6: CAIRO – FAYOUM

After breakfast, we depart for Fayoum, a region famous for its captivating natural beauty. Our first stop will be Tunis Village, where we’ll experience traditional Egyptian rural life, meet locals, and learn about local crafts. We’ll visit pottery workshops to observe artisans creating their unique ceramics — and perhaps even try this art ourselves.

Next, we embark on an exciting 4x4 desert safari, driving through the golden dunes for a thrilling adventure. We then continue to the Wadi El-Rayan Waterfalls, where we’ll enjoy the breathtaking natural scenery and take photos by the lake and waterfall. Guests may also try sandboarding for a fun, adrenaline-filled experience. We conclude the day with a traditional dinner in the desert, surrounded by the magical atmosphere and mystique of Egypt. After this unforgettable day, we return to Cairo for overnight accommodation.

Day 7: CAIRO

After breakfast, we begin our day with a visit to Cairo’s City of the Dead, one of the world’s most remarkable necropolises, including the Mausoleum of Imam Shafi’i. We then head to Al-Muizz Street, Cairo’s most important historical avenue, where we explore architectural treasures from different centuries, including beautiful Sebil-Kuttabs, majestic Mamluk complexes, and Ottoman-era mosques and inns adorned with Turkish inscriptions.

Our tour continues with a visit to Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, Cairo’s famous historic marketplace, followed by the Mosque of Sayyidna Hussein, where the head of Imam Hussein is believed to be buried. We also view Al-Azhar University panoramically. After completing the day’s program, we have dinner at a local restaurant. Later, free time will be given before regrouping and transferring to Cairo Airport for our return flight. (No overnight stay on this final night.)
