TEHRAN
TEHRAN

Day 1: TEHRAN

We meet at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal. After completing ticket, baggage, and customs procedures, we board Mahan Air's scheduled flight to Tehran. Upon arrival, we meet with our guide and transfer to the city center of Tehran, which takes approximately 1 hour. Tehran, meaning "Hot Place" in Persian, has a history dating back to the Neolithic era. Spread over a vast land at the foothills of Mount Damavand, the city consists of two or three-story brick buildings in line with the traditional structure of other Iranian cities. During our city tour in Tehran, we explore Azadi Square, the Imam Khomeini Mausoleum, and the broad avenues of Tehran.

Day 2: TEHRAN

After enjoying a delightful breakfast at our hotel, we continue with the panoramic city tour of Tehran. During the city tour, we visit the historical Golestan Palace, built by the Qajar Dynasty and influenced by European architecture, and Tuğrul Bey Tower (Burc-i Tugrul), remnants of the city of Rey. We then explore the Iran Archaeological Museum in Tehran. Later, we proceed to Shiraz with a domestic flight. Upon arrival, we embark on a journey to visit the mausoleum of the famous philosopher and poet Sadi Shirazi.

SHIRAZ - PERSEPOLIS

Day 3: SHIRAZ - PERSEPOLIS

Early in the morning, we set out for Nasir al-Mulk Mosque to welcome the sunrise. Also known as the Pink Mosque, it is famous for the pink-colored tiles used in its interior architecture, creating a magnificent color spectacle as the daylight illuminates the mosque. We then proceed to observe Narencistan Kerim Khan Castle from the outside. This castle, constructed for defensive purposes, stands out with its high walls, well-preserved until today. Following that, we embark on a panoramic tour of Shiraz, visiting Kerim Khan Castle and Vakil Bazaar. Built in 1773, the mosque is particularly notable for the flower-patterned ceramic works added during the Qajar period. Despite surviving two major earthquakes, the mosque remains a sturdy structure. After a shopping and lunch break, we head towards the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the ancient city of Persepolis, and Naksh-i-Rustam. Persepolis was founded by Persian King Darius I in the late 6th century BC and served as the capital of the Persian Empire for a considerable period. Successive rulers, including Xerxes and Artaxerxes, expanded Persepolis, leaving numerous monuments. Naksh-i-Rustam, an archaeological site located 12 km northwest of Persepolis, features monumental tombs believed to portray the Persian mythological hero Rustam. In addition to the tombs, there are seven colossal rock reliefs below, associated with Sasanian kings. After the tour, we return to Shiraz, have dinner, and conclude the day with a visit to the Shahcheragh Shrine.

YEZD

Day 4: YEZD

After breakfast, we embark on approximately a 6-hour journey to the ancient city of Yezd, which boasts a rich history spanning 5,000 years and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the way, we'll explore the desert paths, wind towers, and surreal architecture that characterize this city's cultural richness. Our visit will include prominent landmarks such as the Jameh Mosque, the Amir Chakhmaq Complex, the city center, and significant sites for adherents of the Zoroastrian faith, notably the Fire Temple believed to have been burning since 470 B.C. Following these explorations, we'll discover another sacred site in Zoroastrian belief, the City of the Dead (Necropolis) and its Tower of Silence. After the tour, we'll proceed to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

ISFAHAN
ISFAHAN

Day 5: ISFAHAN

After breakfast at the hotel, we embark on a journey to explore Isfahan, often referred to as the "Half of the World." Isfahan was conquered by Muslims in 640 AD and holds a significant historical legacy as the capital established by Seljuk ruler Tughrul Bey and further developed by his grandson, Malik Shah. We will experience the historical bridges and heritage from the Seljuk period through a panoramic tour. Our city tour includes important landmarks such as Naqsh-e Jahan Square, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Ali Qapu Palace, Grand Bazaar, and Forty Columns Palace. Naqsh-e Jahan Square, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is considered one of the largest squares globally. Formerly known as Shah Square, it serves as a central hub to reach many significant places in Isfahan. The square is surrounded by various buildings, including the Grand Bazaar. Ali Qapu Palace, with its six floors, stands dominantly over the square. Behind the palace, there is a large park and a structure with 20 columns, creating a visual effect of 40 columns when reflected in the pool in front. Although the pool is now empty, preventing us from witnessing this impressive view, we'll still explore the historical significance of Forty Columns Palace. Following the tour, we'll have a break for tea and coffee before transferring back to our hotel.

ISFAHAN - KASHAN
ISFAHAN - KASHAN

Day 6: ISFAHAN - KASHAN

After breakfast, immediately following the checkout from the rooms, we will proceed with a part of the Isfahan city tour. Within this tour, we will visit the significant work of the Seljuks, the Atiq Ulu Mosque. Following the tour, in the afternoon, we will head towards Kashan. Along the way, we will explore the city of Kashan, situated on the historical caravan routes with a rich past. The Fin Gardens, surrounded by water channels, listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, provide an atmosphere of serenity and include the bath where Amir Kabir was assassinated. Additionally, among the places to be visited are the Sialk Mound, a notable archaeological site, and the Boroujerdi House, belonging to one of Kashan's prominent families.

KASHAN – KUM – TEHRAN

Day 7: KASHAN – KUM – TEHRAN

After breakfast, we proceed with the check-out process from the hotel and head towards Kum, known as Iran's religious center, especially famous for its medreses. In Kum, we visit the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Masumeh and her tomb. Continuing our journey, we explore the tomb of Tughril Bey, the Seljuk ruler, concluding our acquaintance with this city. We gather at the meeting point at the time determined by our guide and transfer to Tehran Airport. Departure to Istanbul with Mahan Air's scheduled flight.
