Day 1: Sarajevo

Upon our arrival in Sarajevo on the Balkan tour starting from Istanbul, we will visit important landmarks in the city. First, we will visit the Martyrs' Memorial Cemetery, which houses the graves of martyrs from the 1992-1995 war and the memorial tomb of Alija Izetbegović. Then, we will pass through the Bosnian-Turkish neighborhood dating back to the Ottoman era to reach Baščaršija. In Baščaršija, we will see the 18th-century Sebil, Bakırcılar Street, Çarşı Mosque, Young Muslims Organization Local, Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque and mausoleum, Clock Tower, Kuršunlu Madrasah, Gazi Husrev Bey Museum and library, Latin Bridge, Hünkar Mosque, Bakır Baba Mosque, Orthodox Church, Alija Izetbegović Park, Ferhadija Mosque, Ferhadija Street, Jewish Synagogue, Catholic Church, and Vječnica library. After the tour, those interested can enjoy coffee at the famous Historical Café with a view of Sebil, where they can also buy traditional Bosnian coffee. In the evening, we will have dinner at a local restaurant before heading to our hotel for accommodation.

Day 2: Travnik, Travnik Fortress, Alaca Mosque and Arasta, Vizier Tombs, Clock Tower, Göksu River (Plava Voda), Ahmići Village

Day 2: Sarajevo - Travnik

After breakfast, we will depart for Travnik (90 km). Upon arrival, we will visit the castle, museum, minaret, and military areas. We will see Alaca Mosque, its courtyard, Vizier Tombs, and the Clock Tower before reaching the source of the Göksu River. Here, we will drink water from the gushing river, said to be where the conqueror drank water. After free time, we will return to Sarajevo. On our way, we will visit the village of Ahmići, where 116 Bosnian civilians were brutally killed by Serbian soldiers. We will visit the memorial monument in the courtyard of the Ahmići village mosque and the exhibition hall displaying photographs of the massacre. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 3: Sarajevo - Konjic - Jablanica - Blagaj - Mostar

After breakfast, we will check out from our hotel and begin our tour to Mostar. Our first stop will be the town of Konjic. In this small town with a population of 50,000, situated along the Neretva River, we will see the Ottoman bridge damaged during World War II and the 92-95 war, the Broken Minaret Mosque, and a mini bazaar that has been restored to its original form. Our next stop is Jablanica, the city where Josip Broz Tito, the founder of Yugoslavia, received the title of marshal and where battles were fought. Later, we will head to the Alperen Tekke, founded five centuries ago near the source of the Buna River. Along the way, we will see Mostar Airport and the military area built across from the airport during Yugoslav times, used as a shelter for planes. We will visit the tekke known as Sarı Saltuk, located at the source of the Buna River, which has not yet been reached and can produce up to 43,000 liters of water per second. Inside the tekke, we will visit the tomb of Ali Pasha and the tomb of Sarı Saltuk. Our final destination today is Mostar city, where we will see the Mostar bazaar with cobblestones made from stones collected from the local river, the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, the Republic of Turkey Consulate General in Mostar, the Mostar Bridge, Tara Tower, and Kriva Cuprija (Crooked Bridge). After dinner at a local restaurant, we will stay overnight at our hotel in Mostar.

Day 4: Mostar - Kotor - St Stefan - Budva - Podgorica

After breakfast, we will depart for Montenegro. Passing through the towns of Stolac, Ljubinje, and Trebinje, we will exit Bosnia and Herzegovina. The ferry journey will offer us enchanting views of the Bay of Kotor. Our next stop is the UNESCO-protected medieval town of Kotor. During our city tour in Kotor, we will see Arms Square, the Clock Tower, the Pillar of Shame, St. Tryphon's Cathedral, Craftsmen's Street, Fountains of Tulumba, River Gate, and St. Luke's Square. Continuing our journey, we will head towards Budva. During our tour in Budva, we will visit Budva Castle, a fortress built by Napoleon, preserved shops within the castle dating back to medieval times, the Catholic Church, and the Orthodox Church. After some free time for shopping at Marina Budva, we will proceed to St. Stefan Island. Following that, we will arrive in the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica, after a short journey.

Day 5: Podgorica - Shkodra - Tirana - Elbasan - Struga - Ohrid

After breakfast, we will embark on a panoramic city tour of the capital Podgorica. Then, we will cross the border into Albania. Our first stop is Shkodra, a city located near Lake Shkodra, which forms the border between Albania and Montenegro. Having been under Ottoman rule for 435 years and strategically one of the most important cities in the Balkans, Shkodra boasts a city castle and walls that we will explore. After some free time in the city center, we will continue our journey towards the capital, Tirana. In Tirana our panoramic tour by bus will include the Republic of Turkey Embassy, US Embassy, Namazgah Mosque, statue of the founder of Tirana Süleyman Pasha, Tirana city square, Ethem Bey Mosque, Clock Tower, National Museum, University Building, Opera and Ballet Building, Skanderbeg Statue (the national hero of Albanians), Parliament and Ministry Buildings, and the Presidential Palace. Following our tour in Tirana, our next stop is Elbasan. We will take a break at Elbasan Castle located in the city center. After seeing the Turkish streets and Hünkar Mosque around the castle, we will continue our journey towards the Kafasan border crossing. Here, we will see the famous mushroom-shaped concrete bunkers known as "Bunkers," which were built by the notorious dictator Enver Hoxha and are said to number around 300,000. We then enter Macedonia. Our first stop here is Struga, where the majority of the population is Muslim. Known as the city of poets, we will have some free time for photos before continuing to Ohrid. After enjoying dinner with a view of Lake Ohrid at a local restaurant, we will stay overnight at our hotel in Ohrid.

Day 6: Skopje - Matka Canyon - Prizren

After breakfast, we will first ascend to Vodno Mountain, located on the outskirts of Skopje. Next, we will head to the natural wonder of Matka Canyon. Here, guests who wish to do so can join a boat tour. Following our tour, we will begin a walking tour near Skopje Fortress. We will explore the Old Bazaar of Skopje, which has retained its original name from the time of Ottoman Empire's rule that lasted for more than 500 years. During our tour, we will visit Mustafa Pasha Mosque, Goldsmiths Street, Arasta Mosque, Stone Bridge (symbol of Skopje) over the Vardar River, Turkish and Jewish Quarters, Davut Pasha Bath, Çifte Bath, Murat Pasha Mosque, Suli Han, Kapan Han, Kurşunlu Han, the colossal statue of Alexander the Great, the statue of Alexander the Great's father Philip II, Vardar River, Macedonia Archaeology Museum and Archive building, National Theatre Building, statues of Saints Cyril and Methodius who invented the Cyrillic alphabet, Church of Saint Clement of Ohrid, Mother Teresa Memorial and Museum, and the Old Train Station building that was destroyed in the 1963 earthquake. Afterward, we will head to Prizren. We will visit the tomb where the internal organs of Ottoman Sultan Murad I, who was martyred in the Battle of Kosovo in 1389, are buried. We will also visit the adjacent Selamlık Building, which is used as a museum. Upon arrival in Prizren, we will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 7: Prizren - Pristina

After breakfast, we will check out from our hotel and begin our tour. In Prizren, the second-largest city in Kosovo and home to many Ottoman monuments, we will embark on a city tour. We will visit the Halveti Tekke, Gazi Mehmet Pasha Hammam, the prayer area where Fatih Sultan Mehmed prayed with his army (Namazgah), Bayraklı Mosque, the Maraş district and its bridge, a 400-year-old large plane tree, Emin Pasha Mosque, the Republic of Turkey Consulate General building in Prizren, Stone Bridge, Şadırvan Square, Sinan Pasha Mosque, Saint George and Catholic churches, and the minaret of the Arasta Mosque, which survived the war despite the mosque itself being destroyed during Yugoslav times. We will also see the effects of the war in the Serbian Quarter.

After some free time, we will head to Pristina to conclude our tour.
