After breakfast at our hotel, we set off for Travnik, known as the "City of Viziers," located 90 km away. Upon arrival, we will drink from the spring, which is said to be the same source where Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror once drank. We will visit the martyrdom monument in the courtyard of the Ahmići Mosque and view the exhibition hall displaying photos of the massacre. We will listen to the stories of these 116 victims, the youngest of whom was just 3 months old and the oldest 86 years old, as we take part in an emotional visit. Upon arrival in Sarajevo, we will have dinner at a local restaurant and then return to our hotel for the night.

Day 6: SARAJEVO

After breakfast at our hotel, we head to the breathtaking "Vrelo Bosne" National Park. In this beautiful natural park, we breathe in the fresh air as we enjoy the sight of swans and wild ducks swimming freely in the clear waters, and we take in the vibrant colors of autumn. Next, we visit the Tunnel of Life, a critical element in the Bosnians' survival strategy during the 1992-1995 war, which was dug beneath the airport. This tunnel played a key role in breaking the Siege of Sarajevo, one of the longest sieges in history (4 years and 4 months), and ultimately changed the course of the war. As we walk through the tunnel and its museum, we deeply feel the impact of the war. We also watch a 15-minute slideshow featuring footage taken during the tunnel's construction, offering a stark reminder of the devastation caused by the conflict. After passing through the tunnel, we visit the museum, which is filled with various war artifacts and tools used during its construction. After completing our tour, we have some free time for shopping in Baščaršija before heading to the airport.
