BEIJING

Day 1: BEIJING

We fly to Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China. Upon our arrival at Beijing Capital Airport at 15:35 local time, we are transferred to our hotel by our private vehicle.

Day 2: BEIJING

After breakfast, we start exploring Beijing. Beijing is not only the political, cultural, scientific, and educational center of the country, but also one of the most important cities contributing to China's growth. For the past 800 years, it has been an inseparable part of Chinese history. During our tour, we will visit Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven. Tiananmen Square is the largest square in the world, capable of hosting one million people at once. After seeing Mao's mausoleum and the surrounding structures in this square, whose name means "Eternal Peace," we will visit the Forbidden City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This 9,999-room palace, closed to ordinary people during the dynasty period, is the largest palace in the world, covering an area of 250 acres. We will have lunch during our tour. After lunch, we will visit one of Beijing's traditional courtyard neighborhoods, known as "Hutong," and have the opportunity to meet a local family. We will end our day at the Temple of Heaven, built in 1420 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple was used by Chinese emperors to communicate with the gods before harvest season for a prosperous harvest. Today, retirees spend their time playing cards and chatting in the park surrounding the temple. We will have dinner at Feng Ze Yuan Restaurant, located on one of Beijing's most interesting streets, Wangfujing Street. After dinner, we will explore the street, discovering interesting local foods.

Day 3: BEIJING

After breakfast, we head to the Great Wall of China, a symbol of China and one of the architectural wonders of the world. This massive structure, built 2,200 years ago and stretching approximately 7,000 km, holds many historical stories that we will learn from our dear guide Elif Çamlıkaya. During our visit to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we will witness breathtaking views that will remain in our memories for a long time. After having lunch at Brick Yard Restaurant near Mutianyu, we will return to the city center and visit the Summer Palace and its gardens, dating back to the 12th century. The Summer Palace, once used by Chinese emperors, now serves as a recreational area.

Day 4: XIAN

After breakfast, we are transferred to the airport and fly to Xian. Xian, the capital of the Shaanxi region, is one of China's four great historical capitals. With a history of 3,100 years, Xian is one of China's oldest cities and was known as "Chang'an" before the Ming Dynasty. After our short flight, we will explore the historical district of Xian. After walking along the city walls, we will head to the area that houses one of the oldest mosques in the Islamic world, as Xian was the starting city of the ancient Silk Road. We will pass through Bell Tower Square and Drum Tower and then visit the Muslim Quarter. Here, we will see the Great Xian Mosque, built in 742. We will have lunch during our tour.

Day 5: XIAN

After breakfast, we will visit the Terra-cotta Warriors Museum to see the Terracotta Statues located in the tomb of China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These statues, built in 210 BC, were discovered by local farmers near Xian in 1974. Today, there are over 8,000 statues, each standing about 1.80 meters tall, with unique faces. We will have lunch during our tour. After lunch, we will return to the city center to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, dating back to the 7th century, and take a pleasant walk in Datang Everbright City.

After breakfast, we fly to the world-famous port city of Shanghai. Shanghai is not only China's most populous city but also known as the country's economic, financial, and commercial center. Upon arrival, we will take a delightful boat tour and visit Zhujiajiao Water Village. This unique settlement, shining like a pearl amidst the lakes and mountains, is one of the best-preserved ancient towns in Shanghai. We will have lunch during our tour.

Day 7: SHANGHAI

After breakfast, we will visit the Jade Buddha Temple, famous for its peaceful atmosphere and magnificent sculptures. Then, we will explore Yu Garden, which has maintained its beauty for over 400 years with its elegant Chinese pavilions and authentic architectural treasures.
